Hello teachers, parents and students,
We are glad to let you know that the official school reports of 'The 6th Benedict Goh Malaysia Schools Mathematics Championship 2023' have been sent to the teacher-in-charge(s) of each participating school on WhatsApp before 2.00 a.m. of 2 October 2023. Teachers are now allowed to share the official school reports with the registered participants at their schools.
The school report consists of the full results of the participants at the school. Therefore, all participants can now check their results in the school report. Participants must make sure that their information in the school report is correct. The winners of this competition will also be publicly announced on this website at a later date after all the participants check their results in the school report.
Here are what you should do with the championship school reports:
- The teachers must make sure that all the information (such as the spelling of the name) in the list of teacher-in-charge(s) is correct. Update it if necessary.
- For participants, if you attend the competition (and submit the answer sheet) but your results are "absent", please inform your teacher-in-charge immediately. The teacher will then contact the organiser to discuss about it.
- For all participants, please check the spelling of the student name, school year category, school name (if any), marks and awards. Awards depend on the marks of the participants.
- For participants who register for this championship at their original school, they can check their school name at the top of the school report. The school name will be printed on their certificates.
- For surrogate participants and participants who register through the tuition centre, the name of their original school will be printed on their certificate. There is a list of surrogate participants in the school report. Surrogate participants must check the name of their original school in that section.
- For walk-in participants who haven't paid the registration fees, they need to make payment for the registration fees on or before 4 October 2023 (Wednesday). Walk-in participants are shaded with orange colour in the school report.
- If you already pay your registration fees but your name is shaded with orange colour in the school report, please inform the organiser about this situation through your teacher.
- For any correction of information, the teacher should inform the organiser via WhatsApp on or before 4 October 2023 (Wednesday).
At the same time, we realise that many of you have asked us the following questions in the past few days. Here are them:

Where to obtain our certificates and medals (if any)?
For participants who register for this championship through school, the certificates and medals (if any) will be sent to the school and the teacher-in-charge of this championship at your school will make arrangements for distributing the certificates and medals (if any) to you. For participants who register for this championship through tuition centre, your certificates and medals (if any) will be sent to the tuition centre. You can then collect your awards from your tuition teacher.
Note: Printed certificates are prepared for all the registered participants of this championship. Medals are only prepared for participants who achieve final marks of 70 and above.

No. As stated in the BMC 2023 championship information pack, 'The 6th Benedict Goh Malaysia Schools Mathematics Championship 2023' is composed of just one test. There is no selection, no preliminary, and no final test.
What should I do if the spelling of my name in the school report is not correct?
You must contact the teacher-in-charge at your school immediately. Then, tell him/her your correct name. The teacher will then inform us (the organiser) about the correction by WhatsApp. After that, we will take action to update your information in our system. This is very important because the name of the student will be printed on the certificates.
