We intend to host the first Benedict Goh Malaysia Schools Mathematics Championship in 2017. We have set June as a target month and would now like to invite prospective participants to register as a competitor. We will send official invitation letter or email to all the schools in Malaysia by the mid of April, 2017. If your school has a proven track record as a mathematics competition winner, then we would love to hear from you.
With the awareness that mathematics is a knowledge that can be learned and can be used in a wide variety of ways, there’s a phenomenal increase in the participation of mathematics championships, especially in Malaysia. However, due to logistical problem, numbers of competitors will be restricted. First come first
served! As there is a big demand for places, early booking is
essential.
The competition is open to all the students from Year 1 to Form 6 in Malaysia. We hope and expect to receive a tremendous response from schools, parents and students on this excited opportunity. We believe that this championship is one of the best opportunities for your students to apply their knowledge of Mathematics that they have learned in the classroom. We also hope that this championship can stimulate interest in mathematics among the youngsters.

Competition: 19th to 23rd of June, 2017
Registration: 10th of April to 10th of May, 2017
Venue: At each participating schools
Format: 25 problem-solving questions, to be answered in 90 minutes
Fee: RM 30.00 per participant
Eligibility: all primary school and secondary school students

We would like to see as many competitors as possible come along to what we hope will be a highlight of the mathematics year!
